Harvest of the Month

Connecting with nutritious food is an important part of making healthy choices. The What's FRESH Harvest-of-the-Month Program highlights regional, seasonal produce in fun and engaging ways. The FRESH tasting team, in partnership with Virginia Cooperative Extension Master Gardener Program, brings the farm to your student's cafeteria so that they can learn how food grows as what it can do fuel their bodies and minds. Developing palates that favor fruit and vegetable options is the goal!
