Fauquier County’s first Youth Resource Fair is coming to Brumfield Elementary school on March 2nd, from 9-12pm. Three local organizations, Fauquier Alliance for Youth, Fauquier Reaches for Excellence in School Health, and Foundation First, are co-sponsoring the event. Designed to be a one-stop-shop for families with preschool to middle school aged children, the fair will feature 42 different youth-serving organizations from Fauquier and surrounding communities. Featured vendors include those offering preschool and child care services, youth enrichment programs, extracurricular activities, and social services. The event will include door prizes, such as free passes to the WARF while supplies last. In addition, 10 families in attendance will be selected at random to receive a $200 voucher to be spent on services from the vendor of their choice. In the event of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled for March 3rd, at the same time and location.
