FRESH Reads is a mobile program that brings literacy opportunities to school and community events throughout Fauquier County. FRESH staff engage children and families in finding the perfect books to take home, connecting children with books that match their interests and their reading levels. From board books for toddlers and picture books for preschoolers, to young adult fiction and nonfiction selections, there’s something for everyone. All books are free and are intended to help families build home libraries and shared reading experiences.
FRESH Reads relies on community donations of new or gently used children’s books. Donations may be dropped off between 8am and 3pm, Monday through Friday at:

FRESH Reads has joined forces with the much-loved Books On the Bus, better known as BOB, to meet the needs of Fauquier County children and families. Look for the familiar BOB tables at events sponsored by FRESH throughout Fauquier County.
