Nacho Cheese

Yields about 1 cup


  • 10 slices or 10 oz. block cheese or shredded cheese

  • 2 tbsp. milk

  • 1 tbsp. sriracha, optional


  1. Shred or cut cheese slices into strips. Place in a microwave safe bowl.

  2. Add milk and sriracha to cheese. 3.Microwave for one minute and stir.

  3. Microwave again for 30 seconds or until fully melted. Stir again until smooth.

*Be careful when removing bowl from microwave as it will be very hot. *Serve immediately as cheese will begin to solidify quickly, creating a film. If necessary, add more milk one tbsp. at a time, reheat, and stir.


  • Add crushed pepper flakes or a pinch of cayenne instead of sriracha

  • Add 1 -2 tsp. taco seasoning

  • Stir in fresh parsley or chives
